Johnny Depp and Will Smith

Johnny Depp is a hell of an actor, my favorite movie by him is Blow.

And Will Smith well Ive liked him sense Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, and Ive seen every movie he's been in and he's just a great actor as well as Johnny Depp.

my favorites from let's say the past 10 years(good example in parentheses)

Daniel Day-Lewis (There Will Be Blood)

Leo DiCaprio (The Departed)

Kate Winslet (Little Children)

George Clooney (Michael Clayton)

Jennifer Connelly (House of Sand and Fog)

Naomi Watts (21 Grams)

Sean Penn (Mystic River)

Benicio Del Toro (21 Grams)

Philip Seymour Hoffman (Synecdoche, New York)

Heath Ledger (Brokeback Mountain)

honorable mention but he doesn't do enough films: Jack Nicholson (The Departed).

For comedic actors, I think my favourite is Simon Pegg.

Right now (it changes) I'd say Leonardo Di'Caprio for actor and Audrey Hepburn. Leo because he just pumps out quality movie after quality performances, and Audrey because I swear there isn't one movie she hasn't absolutely owned.

Favorite is Denzel. He is a total badass. Training Day is awesome, as is Man On Fire, and American Gangster is good as well. I like John Q too, but I prefer him in more of a badass role, I just think he commands respect on screen so well.

Matt Damon is also a favorite of mine. Pretty much nails every role I've seen him in.

Will Smith is probably the most over rated actor in my opinion. I loved Pursuit of Happiness, but most of the time I sense over-acting.

Oh yeah, I didn't read the top bit where you said last 10 years. I'll let you off.

I agree with most of them, except Benicio Del Toro. I don't think he was particularly good in 21 Grams and 21 Grams isn't THAT great of a movie although it's pretty decent.

Daniel Day Lewis' performance in the masterpiece There Will Be Blood makes him one of the best actors of the 00s.

Philip Seymour Hoffman is one of the best of his generation, such a great actor.

Leo churns out great film after great film and great performance after great performance but I think he needs to challenge himself. Revolutionary Road, Shutter Island and Inception he's pretty much played the same character.

Solid list, I mostly agree with them.

i love 21 grams. it's so gritty and emotional. but looking at his filmography, he hasn't done much other than that.
