I've always found Nic Cage a bit wooden.

I don't think he's that great. He just became a big star because of his uncle Francis Ford Coppola. I don't think he really earned his stripes as a good actor.

One of my favourite actors is Tom Cruise.

Yes, his personal life got messed up and people lost respect for him after he jumped on Oprah's couch and started preaching his religious crap to everybody, but all that aside I think this guy has talent. Of course there's Top Gun, but he was also excellent in films like A Few Good Men (with Nicholson), Jerry Maguire, Rain Man (with Hoffmann), Interview With the Vampire (with Brad Pitt - ughhh) and Mission Impossible. I gained so much more respect for him as an actor after watching him play the bad guy in Collateral. Most people seem to think he's crap though...

I, also like Tom Cruise. Just putting that out there.

No really, he is a brilliant actor. Done some real quality films (and some bad ones). But overall I think he's among an elite group of actors.

Michael Cera, he may not really be acting but I adore that awkwardness that he has. In interviews it seems like he's that awkward all the time.

Johnny Depp, can have completely different roles and act so well!

My fave man in comedy has got to be Adam Sandler. I like everything I've seen him in.

I know 3 or 4 people who went to high school with Michael Cera and I met him once in a mall years ago, before he was famous. I think he was promoting a local theatre production or something. He's very soft spoken and really nice. Cera was really good in Juno. He's done pretty well for an awkward kid from Brampton, Ontario!

As for Johnny Depp: I don't get the appeal of Johnny Depp at all. He's not that great looking - he always looks really skinny and unhealthy to me. He also picks the same type of role over and over again. Shows that he is either not a versatile actor or he doesn't know how to play any other role well. He was good in Edward Scissorhands though. I really enjoyed that film!

And Adam Sandler: I think he picks roles that make him look immature. The Wedding Singer and 50 First Dates were okay, but that's it. I think he would be better doing stand-up.

My favourite comedy actor is Ben Stiller:

I love his films. I love the slight neuroses and the awkwardness of most of the characters he plays. Meet the Parents, Meet the Fockers, Zoolander, and (my personal favourite) There's Something About Mary are all good, solid comedies. He's a versatile actor as well, starring in more dramatic roles in movies like Permanent Midnight and Reality Bites. Stiller also directs! Reality Bites was his directorial debut, followed by The Cable Guy (with Jim Carrey - not the greatest of movies), and of course there was Zoolander and then the epic Tropic Thunder (also featuring my all time favourite actor Tom Cruise). I'm looking forward to seeing Greenberg - Stiller's new drama film directed by Noah Baumbach. I'm also looking forward to pontential future projects.

Are you guys serious? Sure, his movies have been entertaining, but not thanks to him. We can thank the script and direction. Seriously, when has a movie he has been in not been "Tom Cruise as this character". Jerry Macquire: Tom Cruise gets a single mom. War of the Worlds: Tom Cruise runs from aliens. Minority Report: Tom Cruise is a futuristic cop. Eyes Wide Shut: Tom Cruise goes to an orgy. The list goes on and on.

I was gonna make that point, Tom Cruise has just been lucky to land himself with the right script and director. The mark of a good actor is someone who can shine, even if the movie is bad/isn't that good. I.E Johnny Depp.

In my humble opinion I think Tom Cruise is a huge prick/ idiot/ wanker/ whatever. I can't stand listening to him talk in interviews or hearing about his life. That being said though, he has got a lot of talent and can definitely act.

The mark of a good actor is when you are thinking of them as their character and not the actor him/herself. Like Daniel Day Lewis...that guy can freakin act. And yes, even Johnny Depp.
