But I don't think you HAVE to see a movie in 3D to appreciate the effects.
I have that wrong with my eyes but I don't get headaches from it therefore don't need glasses. Does that mean I'd have trouble watching it in 3D?

I don't know, have you had trouble watching 3D movies before? I have to always be wearing/glasses or contacts otherwise I would not be able to see a thing, so yeah I'm not sure :/

With 3D movies your eyes have to cooperate together to bring the picture together, but when wearing my prescription contacts my eyes are both performing different tasks (one is seeing for distance and one is seeing for close-up) so they can't bring the image together.

I never had a problem with 3D before this year. My eyes now don't have the same quality vision, and I still haven't upgraded my lenses. It is fixable as soon I go to the doctor, but never really liked those tests.
I can still watch 3D, but I have like a massive headache 10 minutes into the movie, and then, if the movie is any good, I just forget about my headache and move on.

I have to note that this was the first time I've watched a movie in 3D. Very cool. But I was also blown away by how clear the image was (usually it's all grainy and shit). I guess that's what High def is all about. Never saw that before either *poor eastern block child*

I think it's just the first time you go to a decent theatre. That's not the first movie to be shot in HD, and analog film is already great quality, that's why getting that quality digitally has been so hard.

I've never watched a 3D'r so I don't know. I hope I'm alright That sucks if I can't watch cause my eyes . I can see alright, or what I think is alright. I have good vision just ones long sighted and ones short. I better be alright, I'm not wasting 10 quid to be handed with some disapointment and dodgy eyes .

You shouldn't have any problem watching a movie in 3d.

Yeah, a friend of mine went to see it in 3d yesterday and his vision is awful. He said his eyes were just fine while watching it.

I realize everyone's eyes are different, but the 3D glasses aren't lenses. They're essentially sheets of tinted plastic to focus the movie.

But like my brother has this problem with one of his eyes' muscles, so he doesn't notice the 3D, but I think he forgot about it as he's been pretty excited to watch Avatar in 3D specially. We'll see what happens.
