I do want to see it but i'm not buying into the hype. I tend to go into movies thinking about all the possible flaws, that way if it sucks i'm not dissapointed but if it doesn't suck i come out of the cinema feeling like it was worth the money i paid.
I will definitley see this movie and i will definitley see it in the cinema. I probably won't buy it on dvd though. Unfortunately despite being HD my tv doesn't play 3D movies...yet.

I don't like HD TV, at least for watching movies and tv shows.
It's hard to explain why, I just don't like the extra fluidity of movement especially moving camera shots, it looks very plastic and unnatural to me. For video games though, it kicks ass. |

Then again i'm not watching it for the realism like so many people crave these days. I'm watching it simply to be entertained.

This. I'd definitely recommend it, but only in 3D. The effects are insane.

I thought this movie was a remake of the cartoon but apparently it's not.

Either can I because of my screwed-up eyesight (one of my contact lenses is for long distance and the other is for short distance) so it doesn't work for me.
But I don't think you HAVE to see a movie in 3D to appreciate the effects. |
