I loved it. The story I was happy with. I didn't think it needed to be too complicated. I just wanted to watch the visuals anyways. And jesus christ were the visuals stunning.
Fantastic movie! I was really blown away.

I don't think their should be sequels though.
Like what is it going to be about?
"AVATAR 2: Peace on Pandora!"

It'll be super cool without a doubt. But I love how simple and complete the first one was. It was just completely finished and a perfectly excellent work. And I don't want a series to mar how excellent it seems. I don't know if I'm making any sense.

I don't want them to pull a Pirate of the Carribean and have the next two films be about some rising enemy who makes the previous film's bad guys seem weak and unimportant.

yeah, it should be something really political...like we see more of how the tribes are related and the conflicts and all that. it is the only way i can imagine where i would actually be really interested to it.

james cameron has already said if the first does well there will be 2 more at least. all the actors signed on for 2 more sequels as well.

I thought it was paced very well. The plot needs to be something deep and political, like duga said.

I know what you mean. I'm on the fence about a sequel. On one hand, I'm curious to see what else will happen with Jake on Pandora but, on the other hand, I don't know if any more needs to be "said".

I watched it for the second time tonight. And it was still just as good as the first time. It didn't feel long at all; the pacing was perfect.
