You know nothing about film. Just because you can namedrop a lot of foreign guys doesn't make you particularly knowledgable in how a film works, why a film works, nor do you have any respect for the amount of effort that goes into making movies or for a filmmaker's desire to entertain and and leave an impression on his audience. All you care about is art snob circle jerking.

Also I don't care if Urban bans me again, I call it like it is.

Ribisi was awesome, he was given a rather one dimensional character to play but he made something out of it. I like how he makes you wonder what he's thinking, more than a few times you're lead to think he will see the error of his ways as the typical hollywood cliche usually goes, like that one scene where Weaver tells him what he's done, at first you see this guilty look on his face, but then he laughs it off, I loved that.

It wasn't so much the performance as the characters which, as Boobs noted, were terribly one dimensional in their polar opposites. Ribisi also has a very ungrateful face which makes it hard to think of him as anything but a whiny child. I think a different, stronger physical appearance would have made the character less annoying.

But also as Boobs noted, Ribisi took what was written as a one-dimensional character and gave him a lot more depth. I think that's one of the things I enjoyed about his performance.

About the cameras, I heard that James Cameron invented a new type of camera for filming this movie. I'm not entirely sure but I think Sigourney Weaver said something about that.

I thought the acting in Avatar was overall pretty good, nothing I would call outstanding but everyone did a good job. Though Zoe could be annoying sometimes for the way she screams and hisses and stuff, but whatever, she's still the hottest blue chick since Smurfette and Mystique.

She was by far the best actress/character in the film. Fierce and dignified. And extremely expressive and memorable.

After seeing her in Star Trek I think she is the most beautiful actress in Hollywood. That is all.

That's funny, because I have worked on several films, have imdb credits for two of them, and have in the past year shot my own feature which I am currently editing (I could provide you with the trailer if you want). Again, how presumptuous.

I feel like they could have done better.
Sorry bubs, got to disagree here, I thought jake sully was excellent, i thought the wheelchair added to the excitement of him being able to walk as an avatar. I really really really loved Jake in the film. He was hot too. As was his avatar.
