Really? It's the first time i've heard of it. I've been of the assumption that entire CG scenes were filmed in software. Anyway besides that, theres the animation and... hoping i'm not jumping the gun but... probably the best special effects i've ever seen. And it pains me to say that because i'm not the biggest fan of CGI... maybe I just hadn't seen what it's potential was yet.

You think so? The effects just looked like regular big-budget CGI to me. Very well done to be sure but no better than other recent movies. |

He played the guy who was in charge of the whole operation early on. Not the military guy with the scars but the guy who was more of the corporate stooge character.
That's him on the left: |

He didn't seem bad to me, but he wasn't my favorite performance either. I actually like Sigourney Weaver a lot... |

Visually, Avatar was stunning sci-fi porn for me. I loved that. The story was eh, but not as bad as many people made it out to be.

I don't know what it was that liked so much about his performance but something about it really clicked with me. Sigourney Weaver was good too but she was kind of playing the same sort of role she always plays.

I think he on the left has the kind of, "I'm small and easily swayed but I wanna be a bad ass" look that the character needed. I was surprised at the character they picked for the main guy in the wheelchair. I feel like they could have done better. |
