I've seen the other two and that is some trippy shit. I couldn't really believe that Coraline was a children's movie.

Tim Burton is great to be sure, but I haven't even seen what looks like his best stuff (Edward Scissorhands, Ed Wood, both Batman movies)

Coraline isn't actually a Tim Burton movie, though it certainly looks and feels like one. It's without a doubt one of the most f*cked up (and thus awesome) kids films ever made.

The claymation work on Nightmare Before Christmas, Coraline and James and the Giant Peach was all done by Henry Selick. Who is pretty much the claymation equivalent of Miyazaki and one of my favorite animators.
