Do you know that Italian saying?: "Traduttore, traditore" ("Translator, traitor").

It can be applied to movies too. I always prefer the original audio version, despite the trouble of reading subtitles. Even if I have to see things like John Wayne as a Roman centurion saying "Truly this man was the son of God". Actors' voices tell you much about their performance in the film, even if you don't know the language.

I'm not sure I understand what you mean

Anyway I always like to see a movie without any subtitles whatsoever, makes it so much more enjoyable

you mean you enjoy movies with bad overdubs more than you enjoy the original movies?
