Pitt's performance looks campy to the extreme. That being said I still want to see it.

I don't want to see it. Because if it's anything like QT's other films, it's an emotionless, substance lacking, pop culture vulture, sake-of-cool piece of garbage that has absolutely no redeeming value to anyone who isn't sated by played out imagery in a pretentious schema.

The t of course stands for "tragically wrong". I know his films aren't truly deep or anything, but I don't think great cinema always has to be. It's not like he ever pretends to NOT be a pop culture junkie who makes movies for pop culture junkies. And that's what his films are for, pop culture junkies, like me. Anyone who is expecting Jean-Luc Godard is clearly gonna be disappointed. |

I'm afraid it's WON'T be like the usual QT movies ... that movie seemed lacking some blood ... but still want to watch it.

Each scene in it was hit or miss. Some scenes, especially towards the end add nothing. It seems like Quentin Tarantino was trying to out-do the "ear scene" from reservoir dogs in any way he could. Also, the dude who played the "Jew Bear" was terrible, at least when he talked.
But i did enjoy it. It is a very fun movie if your just in the mood to be entertained. |
