Bad chapters in good books?
Basically what the title says. I am pretty sure Chapter 32: Cetology in Moby Dick is the worst chapter of all time that can be found in a good book. It's a long chapter where Ishmael tells us useless information on whales.
Any other examples? |

the last chapter in A clockwork Orange (the UK version)
it's good they removed it in the US version ... in this chapter Alex becomes a good human being. It just ruins the whole book. and if anyone read HP 7 ... they sure know the ugliness of the last chapter. When all of them are in their 30s and married.

I'm trying to think of bad chapters in books... Ah, Chapter 11 of The Picture of Dorian Gray was such a chore to get through. Wilde mentions like every single royal family and it's soooo crazy. Got on my nerves. |

Dorian Gray... this sounds familiar. I don't mean to be crude but isn't that where Sasha Gray got her name from?
