Breakfast Club
Weird Science Ferris Beuller's Day Off. To an 80's kid like myself he was great. Home Alone was crap though.

The first Home Alone was decent for what it was but the sequel was pretty much the same exact movie.
Still, his 80s teen movies and the first and third Vacation movies were classics, RIP. |

I'm feeling sad tonight. He had an impressive career as a writer & producer.
A movie critc once said the second golden age of movie in the 80's & 90's, I believe he he was a big part of it - that's the best compliment for him I can think of right now. John Hughes (I) imdb ^ click some of the favorite JH movies Christmas Vacation Uncle Buck Ferris Bueller's Day Off Weird Science Trains, Plains and Automobiles Pretty in Pink Breakfast Club Sixteen Candles Some Kind of Wonderful (Rolling Stones - Amada Jones coversong in the soundtrack) Last edited by Neapolitan; 08-07-2009 at 11:36 PM. |

Rip John Hughes!!
My favourites were Breakfast Club, Sixteen Candles and Pretty in Pink. And Jackhammer, home alone was awesome!
