On the contrary, you want a video game console, I'm recommending one.
Yet you're torn between getting an overpriced paperweight with no games for it and one that does have games but doesn't actually work most of the time. |

PS3, no doubt.
As for "no games", well: LittleBigPlanet Metal Gear Solid 4 Killzone 2 Resistance 1 & 2 Uncharted: Drake's Fortune Warhawk inFAMOUS Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction Flower Motorstorm and all of the precious multiplatform titles like Bioshock, Call Of Duty, GTA IV, Burnout: Paradise, Fallout 3, Dead Space, etc, plus online is free and it won't screw itsself like the Xbox 360 loves to do. Super Mario Galaxy is a reason and a half to own a Wii though.

But of course the games don't matter, it's only a f*cking console that plays video games. The technical quirks, THAT is what matters. The wiimote worked great on games like Galaxy and TP but NOOOOOOO it was just a dumb novelty that would die out quickly, no real gamer would want to go through all the trouble of MOVING THEIR ARMS when they could just use a regular controller, the Xbox fanboys would say. But yeah, now that 360 is gonna have motion sensing controls it's not a novelty at all. And when 360 gets logjammed with awful 3rd party shovelware, then of course it wont be Microsoft's fault. Such hypocrisy. |

Only Wii game I've used the wiimote for and thought a regular controller would work better was Brawl, which was intended to be played with a GC controller anyway.
Generally, I have nothing against the 360, it has some pretty sweet games. If I talk sh*t about it, it's just in retaliation to all the 360 fanboys who've made an obsessive habit out of badmouthing the Wii. It's lame that people have to pick one console and just say the others have no redeeming qualities whatsoever. I mean, can you believe there's still Super Nintendo fanboys who say the Sega Genesis didn't have one good game for it? It's been almost 20 years and people are still fighting over that. It's f*cking ridiculous. |

I'd recommend the X-Box because it's cheaper for what you get and there are more games available. I've got a Wii and my housemate has an X-Box. Wii is awesome because I grew up with Nintendo also - I bought a classic controller and downloaded all the old school games

I grew up with Nintendo as well as Playstation.
But I highly dislike the Wii, BRYAN. I would love to own the 360 only because I have wanted it for a while and I'm in love with Halo 3 and Gears of War 2. But otherwise, I don't know much about it. As for the PS3, I know how amazing the graphics are, but in two years, my friend will be moving in with me, and she has a PS3... that isn't much of a reason, either. So either way, I have the pros and cons. I enjoy X-Box and PS3. -_- Not Wii. See my dilemma? |
