I love Tarantino, but Pulp Fiction is one of my least favourite Tarantino films. It might be that I'd heard too many positive things about it, so I expected it to be more than it was, and was more disappointed than usual because of it.

I just don't get what you're on about half the time. My original post boiled down to this: I don't really enjoy Tarantino's movies because I don't click with his sensibilities as a director. Then you come in and I don't really get what the hell your beef even is half the time.

Maybe I'm just stupid. *Shrug*.

I agree with Mic 100% on Pulp Fiction.
Obviously I used to love it as a teenager but tried rewatching it a few years ago and had to turn it off because it was ****ing annoying and lame.

When you spew contrarian opinions at the speed of light on just about every topic that's ever brought up, it gets to a point where people start to think you're just contrarian for the sake of it

It's pretty overrated but it's fun and there's a lot to appreciate about it. Overplay can kill most films I guess.

I've explored music, games and movies obsessively for many years, so I'm naturally gonna have some idiosyncratic opinions about things. I'm also a person who has an uncommon perspective on the aforementioned forms of art, just as a result of my personality. I'm not really that critical, actually. Of the last many movies and CDs that I've gone through these past few months, I've liked the majority.
