Exactly, the concept of that film is so stupid but the execution of it was somewhat entertaining. the movie has a couple of good scenes but it also has alot of meaningless hollywood special effects scenes you can tell were made to appeal to the masses.

Eye candy like that it's not always a bad thing but i perceived that inception did it in a very pretentious dumbed down way when instead they could've made a film that focused on adding more depth to its trippy concept.

i remember seeing that film cause everyone was raving on about it but the hype didn't live up to my expectations.

That is probably my all time favourite. It's like the miniature paintings are a metaphor for the whole movie. There's just so many layers in every frame. I've watched it several times and it gets to me every time.

Still have yet to see that one, even though I'm a massive Kaufman fan. I didn't know that he was involved with it, so that's a good motivator to change that.

On that note, Adaptation is among my top 10.

I should watch Adaptation again. Saw it years ago but don't remember much.

Eternal Sunshine, Adaptation, Being John Malkovich, Synecdoche New York, and Anomalisa are all 10/10 for me personally.

It's fantastic, it took a couple viewings to really start picking up on the typical Kaufman elements, but I think that's because the animation was a little overwhelming on my first time through.

Is that the one with the puppets? I've been wanting to see it really badly since I heard of it.

Yeah, I highly recommend it whenever you get the chance to see it.

I saw Naked recently and loved it. I have a thing for super dour, depressing character studies.
