Stephen Lynch? Urm... David.
Anyone who thinks Black Swan "is a film about ballet" is an idiot. It follows a prominent theme of Aronofsky's - obsession. Pi had obsession with numbers. Requiem had obsession with drugs. The Fountain had obsession. The Black Swan is no different, and it shows what obsession can do. It's a psychological downward spiral, the whole doppelganger thing is interesting as well. Marvelous film. And the 'the book is better than the film brigade' can f*ck off. To me, there isn't much better than good cinema. |

I guess I am an idiot, then. Sorry I asked a question. And I'm sorry that I prefer the book Clockwork Orange over the film. I prefer reading more than watching movies. I'm not in any "brigade." Lol |

'The book is always better than the film' is a phrase that has frustrated me for a very long time. Quote:
I didn't mean you, I was just venting. You were asking a question. I've seen some people say "Why would I wanna go and see a film about ballet?", idiots. |
