Interesting logic here - the survivors lives seem much better off without the influence of Jacob. I think i'm starting to side with the MIB here. |

Oh yeah, I forgot all about the time traveling back into the 70s aspect, confusing stuff if you don't have your head in the right place.
And yeah, despite all the build up on this Fake Locke being the bad guy, he has a pretty damn good point. Jacob is a f*cking assh*le. Though not everyone is better off in the sideways timeline, like Jin and Kate. Last edited by boo boo; 03-10-2010 at 01:49 PM. |

Just had a thought...
Remember Jacob's Cabin? I'm betting it wasn't Jacob's Cabin, but the MIB's prison. A prison he could only leave as the black smoke. The black powder surrounding it wasn't to keep the MIB out, but to keep him in in some sense. That would only be logically if we're to assume ghost-Christian was MIB. |

And also Sawyer committed a murder in sydney, I dont know if that still happens in the sideways timeline but if it did then he may eventually get caught. Jacob probably had the best of intentions, sometimes the island improves the lives of people, and other times it doesnt, it depends on the fates people choose for themselves. |

Yeah, but nobody gives a sh*t about the people he killed on the island. The others are even more disposable than Storm Troopers.
Or do you mean when he killed Locke's dad? |

That was my second favorite episode of the season so far. After the Lighthouse.
Pros: -Ben/Locke interaction in the teachers lounge in alternate reality-this scene practically made the whole episode. Two of the best actors/characters on the show. Short as it was, this scene was gold. -Richard unhinged? I liked it. -Ben chooses Alex over power in the alternate reality. It was well played out. -Ben's father DID work for the Dharma in alternate reality? And then left? Wow. -No Kate!!! Cons -Awkward/corny scene in library where Alex tells Ben of Principals affair...bleh -Sun gets screen time, but almost no lines! Wtf... -Submarine scene. It was stupid. |
