John Oliver is the better reporter, Stewart is the better comedian and they're both solid in those respects so it's a wash there. Colbert is good but not very dynamic in opinion or humour and seems to be going downhill. Maher is just an embarrassment.

Oh prime Stewart was fantastic, even though I didn't get to watch as much of him as I'd have liked. No cable.

I've seen Maher's standup. He is utter ****. Trevor Noah is carrying that torch.
