It was a favorite of mine growing up. Unfortunately my copy was destroyed when my parents' house flooded in my teens and I haven't seen it since then.

Love the movie. Saw it on the big screen when it first came out while mildly tripping on mescaline.

If you haven't yet, check out the video of the concert Waters did in Germany after The Berlin Wall came down. He did the entire Wall album with all of the props and loads of guest artists. Props to Thomas Dolby for his bit - that took some major gonads.

I love the movie. I have the soundtrack and original poster that came with the movie. I got it on dvd, and watched it sometime around Halloween. Its funny because my friends came over while it was on and they had no idea what it was and it confused them very much. Needless to say they clearly don't have the best of music taste.

I used to watch it with my sister all the time. It's a great movie, very vivid with lots of strong images and some pretty great music. Although I don't know how much of a fan I am of Roger Waters. I think I heard somewhere he was a sell-out.

It's alright, definetly an interesting bit of rock history. The album was actually the first rock album I ever listened to. However, The Wall on the whole is, for me, a bit depressing, both the movie and the album. Only rarely do I feel like I can really enjoy all that misery in one go.

Way back when *ahem* I must have watched this film everyday for 3 months straight! some of the re-recorded music is better than the album and the Gerald Scarfe animation here is absolutely brilliant:
