Love this show. The season finale was great, the way Samson killed all the assassins that came after him was hilarious.
It's hard to pick a favorite character but I think I gotta go with Dr. Orpheus, he always gets the biggest laughs out of me. I remember Dr. Strange from his comics and Spiderman cartoon apperances so unlike most Venture Bros characters I knew right from the start what Dr. O was a parody of. Still, all the characters in this show kick ass. Oh, and Dr. Girlfriend is fine and all (Harvey Fierstein voice aside) but I'm more of a Molotov Cocktease kinda guy. Anyone else been keeping up with season 4? I've been watching the episodes on adultswim cause I can never remember when they're on TV. I gotta say this season just keeps building on what the other three started. There's a lot more going on with certain characters being scattered over the place, but Sgt. Hatred gets A LOT more screen time which is fine by me. Since all the clones of Hank and Dean were killed during the epic battle in the season 3 finale, the characters themselves are starting to grow up a lot more. Hank's got long hair and Dean is showing signs of a mustache. Better yet, this season has 16 episodes rather than the usual 13

All four episodes are streaming online, that's how I've been keeping up with them. You have to sit through like 4 commercials for Grand Theft Auto: Episodes from Liberty City, but it's better than most ads. |

I missed most of the 3rd and 4th seasons, so I'm pretty behind. I did see the season finale of season 3, though. ****in' hilarious.

I watched a few of these at a mates house. He had the first couple of seasons i think. I did laugh in places, and i do like Patrick Warbuton which was a plus for me.
I just wasnt convinced though. Do you people think i may need to watch it from the start to really get into it? |

I would say so. It's a rare cartoon show that makes heavy use of continuity. By missing out on episodes and previous backstories you miss out on a lot of the inside jokes. It's really one you need to watch from the beginning and work you way up just so you'll understand all the characters, their motivations, and all the references to previous episodes.

Yeah. Thats generally the way i am with all TV. If i dont watch it from the very start, i dont watch it. Not much can be done about it when you end up watching it at someone elses house though.
Maybe ill get around to checking out the first few sometime. |

I think adultswim's website has all the episodes uploaded for streaming so that way you can watch the first few and decide if you want to buy or download the first season. I would highly recommend getting on top of this. There are very few cartoons that are this intelligent and darkly hilarious, as well as fleshing out as many characters as possible and creating a unique universe.
