I finished the first one, Got all 242 stars.
The sceenshots look great. This time around you get to ride Yoshi. There's also a new Metroid game coming up, and New Super Mario Bros Wii. If don't wont shut Wii haters up. I don't know what will. I knew some people take their Nintendo antifanboism to pretty great extremes but you gotta be kidding me. |

After you've collected all those with Luigi, there's then a special stage and one final star for both Mario and Luigi to collect. So in total there's 242. Miyamoto says he wants the sequel to be more challenging than the original. Maybe this time after you collect all the stars as Mario and Luigi, you can unlock Wario. *Fingers crossed for Super Wario Galaxy.* |

Galaxy 2 annoucement was mildly exciting (makes we wish I hadn't given up on the first one 80% through). Not very impressed by the new Super Mario Bros though.
Has anyone mentioned Animal Crossing? I've wasted too much time on both the Wii and DS versions. |

We really do need 2D platformers to make a comeback on home consoles. A 2D Mario game on a home console? Thats enough to make me blow my load, it's like 1991 again. I'm very excited about it. |
