Yeah, even as a Scrubs fan I'm pretty sure it's over-rated, and I certainly haven't met this 90% of the population you're on about.

South Park is under-rated of course. I'm continuing the fight that JJJ started :D

And Lost is not overrated at all. It is by far the best television show I have seen in years, I personally want to take a knife to Kate's throat and Jack's penis (I heard rumors that they were thinking of killing of Kate :)). But besides those two characters I love the show.

Lost is exhausting. I think it's incredibly well thought out and plot driven, but it's so focused on its plot that there's no breathing room. Sometimes, with all that tension, you want to laugh, maybe even smile a little bit. Every character is a secret, every circumstance is a deception waiting to happen. It's tiring, time consuming, and you don't learn anything at the end of the day, except maybe that you can't trust anyone, and that "time is like a string."

I watched all the seasons so far, so I know. One week I just didn't watch it and instead started watching Supernatural, which does everything absolutely right. Don't believe me? .... .... actually, I don't care : D

Dude: Hurley builds a golf course.

FaSho 03-13-2009 12:58 PM

God I hate when dumb people watch south park. They don't get it at all and just quote the sex jokes over and over for a month.

lucifer_sam 03-13-2009 01:06 PM

See, every so often South Park pulls a gem out of its ass and it's hilariously well-parodied, but most of the time the show absolutely sucks. I'd estimate there's one good episode per season.

FaSho 03-13-2009 01:10 PM

I'd say more then one on average. This season though I can't think of any that were good. Nowadays they over-satirize IMO

PinkCigarette 03-13-2009 09:30 PM

I know someone is going to throw rocks at me after I say this but I can never get into Lost. I just don't see the big deal. Besides hoping Matthew Fox gets naked at some point, there just isn't anything that gets me into it.

Yeah I don't think anyone will be throwing rocks at you. Half of this website hates lost, half of it loves lost, and half of it says they just can't get into it.

PinkCigarette 03-13-2009 10:30 PM

I also hate Friends.

Yes, but those moments are few and far between, specially when SPOILER!!!!! they get off the island and he goes back to being crazy again. Hurley is supposed to be the comic relief but we get a few instances where he actually makes people chuckle few times in each season.

someonecompletelyrandom 03-13-2009 10:46 PM

I just noticed that my previous post mentioned 3 halves. I apologize for the horendious math.

someonecompletelyrandom 03-13-2009 10:47 PM

I just noticed that in my previous post I spelled horrendous 'horendious'. I apologize for the horrendous grammer.

PinkCigarette 03-13-2009 10:48 PM

You have Hendrix in your avatar. All is easily forgiven.

Urban Hat€monger ? 03-14-2009 03:31 AM

If people think Lost is confusing then all I can say is good luck watching something like Twin Peaks , Sapphire & Steel or The Prisoner for weirdness.

Lost is like a kids show in comparison.

sorry, I'm really bad at explaining things how I want them to come you, let me try again.

I'm trying to say that Scrubs was really overrated around like their 5th or 6th season, but in their last season and in this current season on abc the majority of the population would say that Scrubs is just god awful and not funny anymore, therefore not overrated.

I hope that made more sense

I got so bored when they got off the island. Those episodes this season were they focused on like Jack and Kate and such were pretty blah, more Daniel!

Twin Peaks is a show I think is overrated. I think it may have been because I saw Fire Walk With Me first and I assumed the entire show would be that bizarre but the first season was pretty straight forward. I never got around to watching season 2, does it build up from there?

The people putting Lost down don't think it's confusing, or at least I don't; the fact that it blatantly tries to be confusing, and succeeds in doing so with a lot of it's viewers, annoys me to no end.

What you said made sense, it was just blatantly untrue.

thisWARisours 03-15-2009 03:55 PM

South Park...I don't think there is a single thing in that show I have ever thought funny whatsoever.

ProggyMan 03-15-2009 04:30 PM

Lol, South Park is overrated by idiots, underrated by smart people.

Freebase Dali 03-15-2009 05:14 PM

Without a doubt: Lost.

i can support that. i tried watching lost a couple times and could not sit through it. it is horrible. how it has the following it does can only be because the population at-large are a bunch of [self-edit].

I disagree, but that might just be because of the context of the people we hang out with and i'm basing my opinion on the opinion of those who I spend most of my time with, and you are most likely doing the same thing.

ProggyMan 03-16-2009 12:00 AM

Nah, look on Netflix.

Kevorkian Logic 03-16-2009 03:09 AM

well, yeah, of course. On netflix, when you rank a tv series it applies that ranking to every season. Look how every season has 4 1/2 stars.

If you don't believe me look at any other tv series on netflix with more than one season, they all have the same amount of stars.

If you check the ratings the new scrubs has on abc, it is pretty much consistently the lowest watched show.

Sticking with the show and tell.... my aunt, a speech pathologist, worked with Andre Hicks aka Mac Dre through his childhood. May not have had a rap career without her :)

Also- I will definitely have to agree with That 70's Show. I know a lot of people who watch it pretty religiously, I just never find it funny. Ever. I think along these same lines I will go out on a limb and say Friends is also VERY overrated. I'm a massive Seinfeld fan, and to me Friends is just an unfunny-Seinfeld-coattail-riding-show.

The Office is the only new sitcom I watch with any regularity- to the point of obsession, but I have to admit it's already on the decline. Sad.

Please leave. Now.

We get it that you people think Lost is overrated. We don't have to keep hearing it a million times.

Post about something else for god's sake.

God damn it you guys have cool stories. The only thing I can brag about is that my mom and dad knew the Saliva guitarist before they became big. He was also ***/bi as it turned out as my mom and dad's *** friend was makin out with him or some shit. I'm not sure if he's still the guitarist or not though. I'm not sure what else there is that's cool that we knew people. What the hell did I just say.

So yeah I don't watch Attack of the Show unless the hot asianz are on. I don't give a damn about that show though.

Surell 03-16-2009 10:56 PM

Fuck that man. When we're both famous, we'll be like "WE WAZ ON DEM MUSIC BANTERS JOCKIN DA SHIT". It'll be magical.

Lost, Prison Break, Heroes, 24
tried to watch them, and just went back to my Friends box-set

Surell 03-17-2009 08:34 PM

Ewwwww Friends.

sumguy 03-17-2009 09:20 PM

the whole "Get my weekly TV fix" thing is what bugs me most about those shows. Like you are going to die if you don't see the final show of "The Bachelor" or something.

pahuuuta 03-18-2009 08:26 AM

seinfeld is really overrated
