Nah, Robin Williams is the best as long as he dosen't get too sappy, as in the awful Jack and Patch Adams. Granted his new comedies suck balls, so I guess Ferrel is his rightful successor (or rather the successor to Jim Carrey who is Robin's successor). But I don't think anything by Farrel touches The Fisher King or Good Morning Vietnam.

And before Williams there was Steve Martin.

I think Farrell is overrated personally. I don't think he touches Martin, Williams or Carrey when they were in their prime.

Weird Science is the one where two science nerds (one of which being the nerd in The Breakfast Club) create a woman to satisfy them and the entire movie makes fun of how they're too chicken **** to do anything with her. And the happy resolution is that the geek decides to NOT have sex with her, worst ending ever.

That's kind of a glass half empty way of looking at the ending. In the end, the two geeks both wind up with the girls they've spent the whole movie trying to impress. I think that's a pretty good ending.

Am I the only person who's creeped out by Will Ferrell? I don't know why, but everytime I see him I think "pedophile". Maybe it is the whole "man-child" thing. Ew.

Plus, he's just not that funny, IMO.

Exactly. Weird Science is absolute class. Anything with Bill Paxton usually is anyhow!
