The animal doesn't talk in that.

This movie had so much hype before it was released. Trailer's were already on the internet 10 months before it hit it's debut. When this movie came out a lot of people thought it was the first POV movie, yet they forget about Cannibal Holocaust, The Blair Witch Project, Zero Day and much more POV films. This genre ate itself up and is dying.

It seems like I'm the only one who liked Cloverfield out of everyone I know.

I didn't mind Cloverfield, but the hype died after it came out when everyone got to see the monster, which I'm sure is why many people went to go see it.

yeah and on any subsequent viewing you realize how much of an annoying prick the camera guy is. And how he doesn't turn it off or drop it. EVER

I saw it at the theater and loved it. Shan't be seeing it outside it though...

T'was an annoying film I think. :nono:

Twas not...

Cloverfield was pointless after everyone got to see the monster. There was no mystery, and no real terror. The Blair Witch Project is so successful because of its sublety. There was none here. Just another big screen monster flick with that vomit inducing camera shakeage.
