it was a good counter though still nobody rates talking animal flicks (live action ofcourse, standard anthropomorphism in animation)... i know they are kids films but it's still the most reviled subgenre i can think of.

actually Babe was quite good. Well when I saw it as a nipper at least

I cannot stand the 'talking animals' genre too unless it's animation. The latest travesty seems to be 'Marley & me' that is everywhere over here on TV etc. It looks bloody awful.
