Claymation Alice in Wonderland (country, member)

I rented this film years ago from a foreign films section of my local video store. It seems like it was maybe half claymation half live action but it's been so long I don't remember. I also don't remember the country of origin, it could have been France or Germany. Any ideas?

The director is Jan Svankmajer, I'm pretty sure.

Watched it last week, it was in stop-motion animation. Claymation doesn't include dead animal parts.
