No one really seems to watch the Oscars anymore... I think it's crazy what they are planning to do to get more viewers...

No More Oscars Red Carpet?!

I think this will backfire horribly!!

I don't care for the Oscars all that much, personally.

I thought Robert Downey Jr. did good also.

Slumdog Millionaire will win best picture.

Benjamin Button deserves it.

i have yet to see most of these so I couldn't really comment, I was sorely disappointed with Milk and Slumdog unfortunately, hopefully the other noms are better (though the central performances in both those films were good, especially Penn's)

Wow, boo, sure you are not a member of the Academy? You were on target with most winners.

The Oscars were SO much better than the Grammys. The Grammy's were just wrong...

Last time i checked i wasn't. But since you brought it up I better check again. Grammys suck, they have no crediblity anymore.

I'd say the only major upset was Departures winning as best foreign language film, but the Oscars have been undermining that category for years now so maybe that's not so surprising. I was hoping, since they made an honest effort to pick the best films this year, that they'll go the extra mile and award the actual, most relevant foreign language film of last year, but alas...:\
