I loved Thunderdome and Road Warrior, so to say I'm curious about this is quite the understatement.

Damn, early reviews for Chappie are not very good.

17 Fresh and 28 Rotten so far on Rotten Tomatoes.

****, was pretty confident that Neill Blomkamp had it down. Might see it anyway for style alone.

I'm waxing down my surfboard, can't wait for June 5th, because this is being released. Just the trailer gave me chills. So pumped to see John Cusack play Brian.

So the Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice trailer has leaked. I'm not going to post a link because I don't want to get MB in trouble.

Huh. Yeah I dunno, I kind of wish there was a little more but I suspect the first full trailer will be released sometime this summer or fall. Despite my well documented affinity for what Disney/Marvel are doing, I really do want DC/Warner Bros. to be good too, but based on what I've seen so far (which I'll admit is practically nothing) just isn't doing it for me.

Am I the only one who got the feeling from that trailer that Zack Snyder has been reading Injustice: Gods Among Us? Cause that's the vibe I got.

Wasn't even aware that was anything other than a fighting game.

Yeah I dunno, I'm more interested in Suicide Squad at this point. I did like the voice modulator he used though, although I wonder if that's just for his power armor suit or if it will be in his regular suit as well. I really hope the fight scene is like the one between Thor and Iron Man in the Avengers, where they get to bust out their best powers and tricks, and then it's over in a few minutes. I really do not want a prolonged battle where Batman keeps pulling out new ways to combat SUperman.

You should definitely check it out. It's a weekly title that's pretty fantastic. It's in its own universe, so there's no continuity to worry about and anything goes. Basically Superman slowly goes off the reservation and takes over the world and Batman has to stop him.

Considering it's going to incorporate Wonder Woman, Aquaman, and Cyborg, I'm sure it'll be more than that. But I'm also more looking forward to Suicide Squad. I'm stoked to see what they do with a superhero movie without any superheroes or superhero tropes. And Harley Quinn. I think that might be one of the only times there hasn't been a nerd backlash at a casting choice.
