Both have the markings of films I should enjoy. Then again, so did the Total Recall remake, which I hated, but I'm still looking forward to both of these though.

I'm going to see Elysium just because of the director. District 9 was one of the most refreshing and positive science fiction movies we've had in ages and absolutely owned the summer blockbuster scene for 2009.

Definitely. In fact, the more I think about District 9, the more I can't really think of anything I didn't like about it.

And as for Ender's Game, I'm making myself read the book before I go see it. Both these films have quite an act to pip Pacific Rim to my personal film of year spot, but if anyone can do it, it's these two.

I feel the same about Gravity. From the trailer, it looks like an upper-brow space-horror, but because Alfonso Cuarón's name is attached to it, I'm really interested.

Every time I see the trailer for Gravity. It just annoys the shit out of me and looks like a snooze fest. I hate that they play it so often before every movie I go to see.

I hope you love Ender's Game (the book). Never heard of anyone NOT liking it, but that's because it's just that amazing!

I can't believe my Mother & my Brother In Law went to see World's End tonight and didn't invite me.
