Just read that Little Shop of Horrors is getting a Halloween 2012 release. This one will include the original ending.
Last time a DVD of the movie had it was back in 1998 and it was recalled by David Geffen. Hopefully it will be the restored color version of the ending.

My list for this year. This year should be one of the best movie years in the last decade.
Abraham Lincoln : Vampire Hunter - Dir Timur Bekmambetov - I liked, too a degree, Night Watch and I've heard good things about Wanted. It's going to be a silly movie but I'm hoping for some awesome silliness. The Amazing Spiderman - Dir Marc Webb - I'm not a big superhero fan but I love Batman and Spiderman. I want to see a better film than the first two Raimi movies which I liked but didn't love. I liked 500 Days of Summer and I think Andrew Garfield is very talented. I hope it's good. Argo - Dir Ben Affleck - Affleck has made two good movies and I hope this is his third. Cogan's Trade - Dir Andrew Dominik - I LOVED Jesse James and can't wait for this one. If this ends up being awesome I might have a new favorite director. The Dark Knight Rises - Dir Christopher Nolan - I don't really have to explain why I'm so excited for this movie. Django Unchained - Dir Quentin Tarantino - I loved Basterds and pretty much everything that he's done. This one also doesn't really need an explanation. Gravity - Dir Alfonso Cuarón - I can't wait for this one. I love Alfonso Cuarón. He's really one of the better filmmakers today and a space thriller is right up my alley. Hyde Park on the Hudson - Dir Roger Michell - BILL ****ING MURRAY Lincoln - Dir Steven Spielberg - Should be amazing. Great team of SS and DDL. Looper - Dir Rian Johnson - Brick was amazing and I'm anxious to see his attempt at making a sc-fi film. Great cast too. The Master - Dir Paul Thomas Anderson - My favorite director making a new film. Going to be awesome. Moonrise Kingdom - Dir Wes Anderson - I've enjoyed all of his movies. This one has Ed Norton and Bruce Willis in it so I'm eager to see how they mold into Wes's characters. Prometheus - Dir Ridley Scott - Again, no need to explain why this will be amazing. Coen brothers and Nicolas Winding Refn have films coming out but may be pushed back to 2013. Last edited by Exo; 03-20-2012 at 12:54 PM. |

I just found out one of my earliest cartoons is finally being released on DVD later this year. I am of course referring to Samurai Pizza Cats. My DVD collection of tv shows of my childhood is starting to grow.

^ ditto. going to see it opening night.
Seen all Batman movies, minus the 1989 (though this was the first movie we got with our VCR) in theatres on opening night.

Ridley Scott doing science fiction again is exciting enough, but a prequel to Alien (1979), colour me excited. I don't even care if we see any xenomorphs, I just want another good sci-fi horror movie. |
