Really, it's a shame this movie is 3 hours, because it doesn't have to be. With that said, the final hour is by far some of David Lynch's most powerful work. I almost lost hope halfway through, but it really pulls it out in the end, in my eyes. Fantastic visuals, expectedly undecipherable story, and a real sense of unique aesthetic. Brilliant film, probably would be up there with my other Lynch favorites Blue Velvet, Twin Peaks, and Lost Highway. Still, well worth the watch.

I absolutely love the original Alien quadrilogy (including Resurrection), so words can't describe how much I'm looking forward to this movie. I think watching the bootlegged teaser trailer a couple of weeks back may have seen it usurp the Dark Knight Rises as my most anticipated movie of next year as well. |

Mission Impossible 4 : Ghost Protocol
looks more like a "team" effort, unlike the previous instalments, and I'd dying to see what Brad Bird (The Invincibles) does with the franchise |

Everything is better with robots.
A few decades late, but definitely Platoon. It's been sitting on my shelf for weeks now and I still need to get off my ass and watch it. Always loved Vietnam movies.
