The point is the movie served it's purpose, it allowed me to stuff my face with take-away and forget everything for a couple of hours; it was pure junk-indulgence and I didn't have to cringe at any ham-fisted attempts by the producers to make it relevant or deep. see: Pearl Harbour (an action movie posing as a historical drama)

edit: AND it had John Turturro in it. What more do you need?
Everyone hates LeBeouf but I won't lie, I actually liked him in Transformers. I thought Bay casting a guy like him in the lead instead of someone like Ben Affleck was dare I say it?....... original.

I'm really looking forward to Watchmen.
It looked interesting. One of my friends read the graphic novel and said it was amazing, so me and my friends will probably see it.

I agree, the idea of it sounds great.

Isn't it all how everyone is hyping this movie when it's the same people who hated 300?

Guess who's directing it, that guy.

Yeah and he's ruining the ending. BUT the rest of the movie looks pretty good. I didn't mind 300; then again, I didn't read 300. I did read Watchmen, so that's why I'm pissed about it.
