I have just been going through all the trailers of upcoming Hollywood films (these are the only ones easily available), trying hard to find something... all the upcoming adaptations/remakes look pretty damn awful and the 'original' concepts all seem hackneyed and derivative as ever. I have to moan about CG aswell, it just seems to be getting worse... something like Burton's Alice In Wonderland surely qualifies as an animation, with some actors dotted around?
Someone please give me something to get excited about, or at least a decent website for previews that aren't over-marketed, CG monsters of one sort or another. Mind you, the conventions of high budget teaser trailers are so cringe-worthy as to make pretty much anything look bad: 'Imagine a world...', 'One man...' bleh |

I've been slacking on seeing movies lately. Mainly because I've been broke as a bitch.
The ones I've been wanting to see lately are: Inglorious Basterds Zombieland Where the Wild Things Are Antichrist And I'm interested to see the new Wolfman and Nightmare on Elm Street.

I am so worried by Fantastic Mr Fox. It's such a quintessentially English thing that the idea of American voices in the film makes me a little apprehensive. It has good write ups though.
