Default Favorite Films Of 2008?

Okay it's a little late for a year end list. But no one has made one so...
What are your favorite films of 2008.

Mine:

1. Slumdog Millionaire. An excellent film, enjoyed every second.

2. Let The Right One In. Amazing Sweden film, see it.

3. Synecdoche, New York. Another brilliant screenplay by Charlie Kaufman.

4. Curious Case Of Benjamin Button. David Fincher continues to impress me.

5. Man On Wire. Amazing story of a man who tight roped across the twin towers. Couldn't put a picture on here. But one of the best documentaries I've ever seen. Highly recommend it.

These are all tied for my favourite movies of the year: The Dark Knight, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button and Wall-E (I ♥ Pixar XP). I'm thinking I really need to see Slumdog Millionaire now; the only reason I heard of it was because of all the Oscar nominations XD

1. Revolutionary Road

2. Slumdog Millionaire

3. The Wrestler
(only 4 images per post)

4. The Curious Case of Benjamin Button

5. Doubt

I haven't seen Synecdoche, New York yet and I think that could take the cake. Kaufman is probably my favorite writer/director and Philip Seymour Hoffman is my favorite actor. I neeeeeed to see it.

The Academy Awards this year are terrible. The nominations are completely ridiculous in every category. And it is unforgiveable that they snubbed Revolutionary Road so badly. Leo's performance was easily one of the best of the year (in my opinion the best) and for Brad Pitt to be nominated instead of him makes me want to cry.

I agree, that Revolutionary Road should be in best pictures nomination. The only reason it's not on my list is because it's way to depressing. And yeah Leo's performance was amazing especially at the hospital.

Plus you should see Synecdoche, New York. It's amazing

I think either Revolutionary Road should replace The Reader or Frost/Nixon for the best pic noms. Those two really didn't do anything for me besides the acting.

Where/How did you see Synecdoche? It's been in select cites for a while and I just have no theaters around me that play good movies. I'll have to wait for it to come out on DVD.
