TFW a newb understands how to embed Youtube videos without having to be told. Must be a sock puppet.

How many newbs are marked by not knowing how to embed?

![]() ![]() Was watching the first season of Outlander but am deciding to stop after 8 episodes, because at this point it just seems like trauma porn. The violence is extreme and there is a constant threat of sexual assault towards the main character which I'm not interested in seeing (apparently this theme continues across the subsequent seasons culminating in an apparently traumatic season 5 finale). I read a little about the show and why it's so obsessed with sexual violence and while I understand that this is a thing that happens in the world (and presumably happened a lot more in the 18th century), I am just not interested in subjecting myself to that as my evening entertainment. Am open to suggestions on less gory/violent historical alternatives. Anyone seen Poldark?

Rome was pretty awesome if you happen to have not seen it.

Well of course, it's part of the holy trinity of animated sitcoms: Simpsons, Futurama, and King of the Hill.

Futurama's amazing but not on the god tier. I'd swap it out with Boondocks.

Nah, Futurama might just be the GOAT. Not only is it a 10/10 comedy but it's 10/10 sci fi.
