Just received all three seasons of Hannibal. As soon as American God's is done I'm diving in. Can't wait.

Most likely a bit of both.

It was picked up the day after he tweeted though tbf.

So execs were probably thinking about it favourably and then Hamills support tipped their decision in the fans direction.
