Seen Deep Space 9 yet? if not, it blows TNG away. But only from season three on. Highly recommended, as is Babylon 5, if you're interested. Please though, for the love of God, avoid Voyager!
Just sayin' it's an interesting coincidence
I saw a handful of episodes from both voyager and ds9 back in the day, now.. I'm not there yet, will try to get through Voyager first, despite ample warnings. So far I enjoy how cpt Janeway keeps looking absolutely terrified every time anything happens, how that half klingon lady has one eye 1cm lower than the other, the ships doctor (the only really good part so far).. I'm only 4 episodes in, but one way or another, the Expanse season 3 is coming out tomorrow, right ? This is the sh*t, best sf on tv, now or in history up till now. The Expanse is to sci fi tv what Band of Brothers was to most productions about war. And that's the truth.

Battlestar Galactica was great, though I'm not sure how it managed to withstand the test of time. And yes, I am talking about the reboot - it was one of the first, if not the first major tv series using camera operators with parkinsons.. I mean, this shaky cam thing, regardless whether the shot is dynamic or it's someone taking a dump and thinking about life, it gets old. I enjoyed it when it came out, now .. well, I fear it might work as "well" as the X-files. I tried watching the first episodes, it was almost as painful and cheesy as the adventures of captain Kirk and mr Spock

And Tricia Helfer in battlestar galactica.. she's just stunning. In fact, the whole cast is great.

Yesterday, I saw the 1st episode of season 2 of Legion, and it's just as awesome, weird and unsettling as the first season was. I'm really looking forward to it. Also, I forgot just how hot Aubrey Plaza is <3

Let me also recommend, if you've not seen them, Dark Matter and Killjoys. Both (not that it's important but I guess it helps, and as we're talking about it anyway) with pretty stunning leads. Great stories, powerful premises, completely different to most of the sci-fi on telly up to now. Oh, and Colony is really good too.
Killjoys

Dark Matter

Dark matter was pretty good, to me felt like a worthy successor to the whole stargate franchise - it mixed serious and interesting issues with cheesiness in just the right proportions, imo.
But they cancelled it, despite the show having the sexiest androids in tv history And yes, I mean plural - Ruby Rose as the sex robot left me drooling. Which probably says more about me, than about how hot she is (very).
As for Killjoys - I've yet to see it, in fact I'm surprised there's a sf series i have not even heard of Will investigate!

I must be slipping. I don't recall a sex robot. Do I assume it belonged to Three? Yeah, what a pity they cancelled it, just as it was about to hit into an important part of the arc. At least Killjoys has been renewed for a fourth and fifth season. Did you see Colony?

Wendy was only in a single episode, but.. she left an impression
Colony - no. Mr Josh Holloway has a very punchable face, somehow he drove me away I know it's not a legit reason, especially since Peaky Blinders convinced me Cillian Murphy is amazing, and not a weird looking freak and possibly a deviant (well, the possibility is still there, I guess :P).
Truth is - I'd need a clone to work for me if I were to watch every single thing that is worth watching .. I might get to it, eventually.
Anyway, the Expanse season 3 is supposed to be here today! Too bad netflix will only show it after the season is done, I guess I'll have to stea.. I mean, look for alternative sources

Colony is decent, sort of a mixture maybe of V and Falling Skies (though I didn't care for the latter). But yeah, when you hate an actor/actress it's hard to give the show a chance.

Did you watch the "new" Star Trek? Can't recall: Star Trek Explorer or something? I wasn't impressed, I have to say. They probably should just leave it now. Also, I'm assuming you've seen the incredible 12 Monkeys?

Watched the first episode of Altered Carbon last night and it seems pretty interesting. It looks to have a well fleshed out universe, which adds depth to the story. One of the reasons why Black Panther kinda meh'd hard was the lack of detail given to Wakanda, and how detached I was as a viewer to the "on the ground" life.

I know it's hard to fit that in a movie, but it is what it is. This show hopefully won't suffer from that same issue.
