If there's one comic I'd point someone toward to show them just what someone can accomplish with a graphic novel, then it would be Sandman.

I've done Watchmen, The Walking Dead, and V-vendetta.
Pretty new to the genre.

I actually still have the original Sandman 1-10 I bought sometime in the early 90's. Should probably unload them as they are just sitting in a cupboard although they are in plastic. Great Series.

Binged the first three episodes of season 2 of TD. Such a completely different animal from season 1. I get that's the intent but it's hard to deal with coming off of the complete awesomeness of season 1.

Still better than most of what's on TV and I'm really hoping it gets more focused and intense like season 1 did as it went on.
