Just finished watching "Grimm" --- holy christ on toast, what a cliffhanger! Thank gawd it's been renewed or I would be VERY agitated!
Also just watched the first episode of a new one on BBC, starring Steve Van Zandt (of Springsteen and Sopranos fame) called "Lilyhammer": shows a lot of promise, though I'm a little unsure how he's supposed to be able to understand everyone who speaks in Norwegian... Going to give it a go anyway, looks like it could be something special. Kind of comedy/drama, though more drama than comedy. Sort of. No lafftrak thank god, and some stunning scenery. The original plot follows a mobster (Van Zandt) who rats on his boss to the FBI and has to be relocated, choosing Norway. Frankie (who becomes Johnny, Steve's character): I wanna relocate outside the USA. FBI Agent: Lemme guess: South America? Frankie: Nah, I'm thinkin' Lilyhammer. FBI: What? Isn't that in Sweden? Frankie: Ah, close enough... Here's the trailer.
