Ya, I was checking on my new fave crush, Danielle Panabaker, and saw that she first did Arrow. Hope it's on Netflix.

And here's some footage of the dude who plays Green Arrow (not his stunt double) training for the show. Dude's a ****ing beast and I would be his girlfriend.

Just heard of this as the free preview segments are now live on Amazon.

Of course, they are inaccessible in the latest versions Chromium and Firefox for Linux systems, so Amazon is not off to a good start.

I am almost finished on S1. How does S2 compare?

Aren't they the fungi that grow out of insects heads? I remember seeing them on the BBC Planet Earth documentary. Really creepy. What a way to go.

Been watching the new series of The Knick. Probably the best show of the decade so far. Lovely cinematography (almost exclusively hand held I think), great story/characters/humour and the best music on any show.

Ash Vs. The Evil Dead really paid off

I've only seen Army of Darkness. Is it something you can enjoy without knowing the Evil Dead series?

Caught the Flash episode last night where Arrow and his crew team up with Flash and his crew to catch the bad guys. Oliver Queen is the bomb.

Now go watch season 1, when he wasn't such a huggy/smiley guy.

They reffered to that a lot last night. I was talking more about his looks.

He is a pretty man.

Now it makes sense. Also, what you got against me girl? You hardly know me!

The Leftovers (HBO)
A certain percent of the world population mysteriously disappeared in a single event, and the show follows the lives of a community coping with it. Really strange and interesting show. Season 2 came out recently and I'm enjoying it as much if not more than the first.

You're the Worst (FX/Hulu)
Essentially a romantic comedy focused on two anti-relationship who meet at a mutual friend's wedding. Quite funny.

Salamander (BBC/Netflix)
A Belgian crime thriller in which a police inspector investigates the robbery of 66 safe deposit boxes at a private bank in Brussels - the contents of which are used to blackmail government officials in order for this organized group to gain more control over the government. Flemish with English subtitles. Working through this one slowly as my girlfriend didn't enjoy it, so I watch an episode whenever I have time alone.

^Goddam I didn't even know about this! I might buy The Criterion Collection DVD. Me, I've been visiting an old standby. Season 3 and 4 is my favorite era.

Fishing With John is goddamned amazing. It's on Netflix if you're inclined to try it before you buy it.

Pretty sure they'll give you a free month's trial once you sign up. You can always cancel before the month is up.

Mind you, I'd recommend Plex TV instead; no country restrictions.

The hola google chrome extension makes country restrictions a thing of the past.

I've used Mediahint but found it sometimes worked, sometimes didn't. Never heard of hola but that seems to indicate it's just for Chrome? ANyhoo, I'd rather watch something country-restriction-free without having to use extensions. Plex does that. There are no, repeat no, restrictions. At all. Plus you can actually talk to the guy face to face, which you can certainly not do with Netflix, specially here, if you're using a workaround. "Frasier won't show up on my selection and it used to." "Frasier is not available in Ireland". "Well, I used to use a ... um .. that is ... never mind." Dial tone.

Been watching the second series of The Life Of Rock With Brian Pern, a mockumentary about an ageing rock star. It's very funny and, at times, very true to life.

It was pretty good. The only weakness that I noticed was Delorenzo's acting was crap. Other than that, it was worth the 40+ minutes. Not sure if I'll be making time to watch every episode on Saturday nights, but I'll check them out when I can.

Finished the first season of Flash and immediately jumped in and binged the first four episodes of Arrow. Love it. Dude is the balls. The back story is really compelling and the fact they don't have to lean on the supernatural is kinda refreshing after 23 episodes of Flash.

If you liked Flash, then Arrow will completely rearrange your ****. First two seasons are God. The backstory never is consistently as compelling as the main story, and... **** it that's all I'll say. Seriously. If not for Arrow then Flash wouldn't have standed a chance at existence. Stay with it. I wouldn't give the slightest **** about Green Arrow if not for Arrow.

100% committed. Took me a while to make the connection between Diggle and Dexter.

Look me in the internet eye.

We will know the glory of Oliver Queen together.

Laurel is boring.

But her dad is badass.

Diggle is awesome, even if only for his introduction of the Suicide Squad (don't worry about it, it'll come).

And Slade. Is. The ****ing. Man.

Laurel is good on the eyes though. Dat ass is fine.

Took me a while to recognize her dad. He was the major baddy from season three of 24. He was born to play that sort of roll. Here's to hoping him and Queen come to terms.
