Get her naked and tell your dick to calm down! No other way! Oh and btw she's real ugly.

Successfully initiated my fiance into series 1 of Spaced last night. I queued up the pilot and she wouldn't stop until the finale.
Tonight she's keen to finish series 2. |
How much absinthe did that take hipster?
|
I totally missed it when it aired, but I think I would like to watch 12 Monkeys through, start from the first episode on... It looks promising imo.
|
I've been anxiously watching the news for another surprise twist.

https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikiped...Young_Ones.png
The Young Ones Fun fact, this show classified itself as a variety show to get a larger budget and as such had to feature musical acts such as The Damned, Motorhead, and Madness. I just completed watching Bottom so I went looking for other shows Rik Mayall has been and my dad recommended this one. I think I might actually like this more than Bottom as it seems to have a more anarchic sense of humor and a whole bunch of other British comedians like Hugh Laurie, Stephen Fry, Chris Barrie, Norman Lovett, Terry Jones, and Robbie Coltrane. |
The young ones! I remember that show, and now I know why there were scenes like they boys going out to a pub to listen to Madness :D Makes sense now.
if you want Rik Mayall, look no further than "The New Statesman". Alan B'stard who he plays is I think the worst human being on tv, it makes the show hilarious. And even though he plays a conservative MP in 80's Britain, it's universal enough for everybody I think. I also wish he had a bigger part in Blackadder.... speaking of which, I heard they're planning a reboot of some kind. Now that would be big. |
India: Nature's Wonderland
Excellent show. BBC iPlayer is your friend: BBC Two - India: Nature's Wonderland |
Rick and Morty continues to be immensely good. Do any of you watch?
|
Yes. Also Young Ones is also fantastic.
I am enjoying Luther so far. It's not formulaic like most UK cop shows, and Idris Elba is a boss as per usual. |
Treasures of the Indus
A three-part voyage of discovery into the cultural history of the Indian subcontinent. BBC iPlayer - Treasures of the Indus - 1. Pakistan Unveiled Horizon: Which Universe Are We In? A documentary asking whether multiple universes exist and, if so, which one we are actually in. BBC iPlayer - Horizon - 2014-2015: 17. Which Universe Are We In? |
Van Morrison - Up On Cyprus Avenue
Recorded on his birthday, highlights of Van Morrison's unique live performance on the Belfast avenue he made famous through the iconic album Astral Weeks. BBC iPlayer - Van Morrison - Up on Cyprus Avenue |
Watched the first season of Humans recently, it's really good. Also, I'm now up to date on Continuum which is a sci fi time travel cop vs terrorists show which is on netflix, and I just started season 2 of The Wire.

The Last Ship
The Last Ship (TV Series 2014 "The crew of a naval destroyer is forced to confront the reality of a new existence when a pandemic kills off most of the earth's population." I've no idea how I missed this... Anyway, I'm after 4 episodes and so far So far it seems it could be fun, even though it is produced by Michael Bay (yeah...) and even though it is oh so patriotic and god fearing.... Anyway, what I wanted to ask: am I in for a disappointment ? I heard it gets significantly dumber as it goes along and that would be a problem because at this point it's already pretty dumb. Still, it's my kind of cheezy guilty pleasure, at least so far. |
Watching Sa Ra Ga Ma Pa on Z-Bangla.

What kind of hipsters are you ?:D I enjoyed all episodes of McGyver lately so excuse me if I enjoy a bit of cheesy war porn, eh ? Or are we too elitist to actually admit we can enjoy campy sh*t once in a while ? Granted that initially I was hoping this would be .. well, less dumb. But come on. Square jawed captain (reminds me of an older Duke Nukem), sweaty doctor with pointy nipples (Rhona Mitra is still hot <3 ), explosions, Evil Russian captain, crew praying all the time... it's so cliche it's super fun. Seriously, just as I enjoy some warhammer Space Marines fluff from time to time, I also enjoy this ... well, this silly old thing. So far at least. |
Oh no I love campy ****. just not that campy ****.
|
Well, one mans sh*t is another mans.. well, sh*t. But it's the sh*t he likes. Or something.
I don't feel bad about my guilty pleasures. Not this one anyway :D |
Well you should its the bottom of the barrel.

Luther. All about Luther.

The black cop?

Horizon: Cosmic Dawn: The Real Moment of Creation
Horizon reveals the real moment of creation - the Cosmic Dawn, the moment of first light. This is the scientific version of the story of Genesis. I always enjoy Horizon, and this episode is no different. Like most science shows, much of the theory is probably just that, but it's interesting all the same. BBC iPlayer - Horizon - 2014-2015: 18. This Is England '90
Starts on Channel 4 this Sunday. If it's only half as good as the movie This is England, or the TV follow ups This is England '86 and This is England '88, then it will be something to savour. I love Shane Meadows films, they're charged with emotion, and can have you laughing hysterically one moment and close to tears the next. |

It's very good. Best British cop show I've seen.

|
