I almost gave up on it when I first started watching it but I found it got better on repeated viewings although I've not watched it in years. I know there are a lot of pop culture references in it and it was made something like 12 years ago so I could imagine something like that would date it very quickly.

I'll probably watch at least a few more episodes before I totally write it off.

Easily the most consistently funny British comedy show of the last 10 years.

I'm surprised at how little it seems to be known outside of the UK.

To add to your surprise, I had never heard of it until Engine's post about it. I'll try and check it out though.

Ink tv.

So, to kill the boredom I just bought NY Ink. Haha. I love good art but the stories behind them I find just annoying. And the crying, oh god it makes me want to punch the girls in the face. Haha

Give me a no talking, straight forward tattoo tv show where they show the whole tattoo being done.

You ought to see if you can find Nathan Barley.
I love that show.

I really can't get that into Nathan Barley. Only seen the first three though.

I think everyone who missed the show while it was on TV decided to finish it in as little time as possible. When my friend and I stumbled upon it last year I think we took a week to enjoy the first season, another week for the second, but then just plowed through the last three. Truly is the greatest show to have ever been on TV.

I just plowed through the first 3 seasons in a week. Have to say this have pushed The Sopranos from my #2 TV Series slot. Still not even close to topping Six Feet Under as the all time favorite though.

Just started watching Black Books on the Netflix. Bernard Black is a fantastic character!

Garth Marenghi's Darkplace, I honestly don't know what to make of it, the odd combination of slapstick and grind house has me confused.

Goofle 12-24-2011 06:58 PM

It's fantastic.

Any show that uses music by Frank Zappa. I'd forgotten how bent it was.
