Game of Thrones.

Season 1 only had 10 episodes but this show is great. It's really violent but it takes place in midevil times so its relative. Hopefully the next season will pound out a few more than 10 episodes but I recommend this to anyone who can get down to some really good midevil drama.

I really enjoyed the animated Christmas show they did last year. I tend to agree with you on the hit or miss.. but when they do a good episode, its a damn good episode.

Must be.

I know last week's got bad reception but this week was generating some pretty positive reviews.

new season of south park has been brilliant. Really the only original comedic television show on right now.

So I started watching Firefly today. For some stupid reason I left it to the last hours of the evening so I only had time to watch the first episode, but I'm gripped. This is definitely a show I will be watching to the end of the series.

Yay! Firefly is easily in my top 5 shows ever. Too bad it was so shortlived. It deserved a much longer run.

The pilot episode is directed by Scorsese, who is also the executive producer. As such, it looks fantastic, too. I was watching an episode at my mother's house, and she wouldn't believe me that I wasn't watching a movie. Superb.

I seriously love this show right now.
Gutted that I can't check this out as it's a Sky exclusive channel and I prefer Cable to satellite TV as the broadband is far superior but the downside is that you miss out on some channels.

I am hoping it will turn up on an attainable channel fairly soon.

Walking Dead Season 2.... hmmm. Not exactly the trailblazing opener to season 2 that I had heard about or was expecting. Still watchable but there is not enough for me to put it anywhere near cult status let alone classic status. I am still itching to see some memorable set pieces that separates it from the multitudes of Zombie media out there.

BBC Two - Origins of Us

Informative, engrossing and Alice Roberts too

Watched it just last night, and I feel the same way. Even the cliffhanger ending there didn't really do anything for me. Honestly, I laughed out loud. I thought it started good, and the moment they ran off into the woods it was downhill from there. Certainly not the trailblazing opener to season 2 that I had heard about or was expecting. But I'm willing to keep following it. They better get their act together ;D
