I love Bones. I used to watch this show on TV and now I am watching all the episodes I have missed so far starting from season 1

However a friend of mine, who is also a big Whedon fan, said she didn't like it at first either but then it started to get really good. Maybe I gave up too soon? |

Right now I'm at the end of season 2 (the final season), with three episodes to go. I can definitely understand the part about not being hooked into it by the first few shows. That seems to be a common trend with all of Whedon's series. With this one, and with Firefly, I was completely bored by the first episode. But if you keep watching it, you'll finally get your reward about 2-4 episodes in and then it just gets better from there. Maybe that's why all of his shows flopped. Not enough people following them after the first episode. Of course I would suggest giving it another try!
I will say that this series, while still great, is probably my least favorite of all his big television runs. For me it would probably go Buffy>Firefly>Angel>Dollhouse.

I used to hate Buffy but the friend I mentioned once forced me to watch it, in MY house, which didn't go down too well to say the least. But I did however, get into it from there. I haven't seen all of Angel but I do like that too. Firefly was a gem of a show and could have really been his best work had it been allowed to grow. Whether it would have or not is purely speculative, but the potential was there.
I probably will give Dollhouse another go. Especially if theres only two seasons of it. |

Yes. Also, their new series JUST started.
The Drunk and on Drugs Happy Fun Time Hour. After seeing the first three or four, I'm definitely on board. Not what I expected from the title, which is a good thing. Very unique storyline. ANY Trailer Park Boys fan should check it out... I think it's awesome how they play more than one role, lots of who's who and costumes, and all sorts of surprises. |

Even with only one season, it was still his best show. Buffy is wonderful, but Firefly was almost perfect.
