Okay well if you like
a) political intrigue
b) investigative journalism and
c) Machiavellian plots it's well worth watching. No Scottish accents I'm afraid, but highly recommended. The Kevin Spacey one is a poor American rip-off.

I'm a big fan of Ian Richardson (he's every bit as great as Guinness in Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy) but this one wasn't for me. A bit one-note, the note being "oh look at me I'm so evil"...

I've been watching the young adult book series turned TV series called 100, based on a post nuclear apocalypse. I'm really enjoying it and binging it during my time recovering from hospital.

It's watchable because it's before he became a humongous asshole. He's just an awkward kid with braces, hopeful that he will make it but not all that sure about his rapping abilities. It's kind of endearing to see him get approval from established rappers of the era. I guess the next chapters will be much more uncomfortable as we see him evolve from this talented, motivated but awkward and insecure kid into the giant mess we all know him as today. :/

The narration is really annoying though, the intonation is like a kid rehearsing lines for a school play.
Finished. Sad ending. It's difficult watching people unravel on camera, even someone as obnoxious as him. I honestly had no idea about the severity of his mental illness.

That aside, I resented a little bit how the filmmaker kept trying to make this film about himself or to insert himself into the story. It was painfully obvious he was a hanger-on who was cut loose quite quickly. And of course, since he is also Christian, it annoyingly ends with some Christian platitudes.

Overall interesting viewing, even for those of us who are not particular fans of the music. Even I had to admit this guy is a multitalented genius.

I was watching Atlanta Season 2 but kind of gave up around the barbershop episode. I'm just not connecting to the slacker comedy vibe. :/

I just finished Obi-Wan. I liked it. I liked how they focused more on Leia than Luke.

There was a UK House of Cards? I'll be damned. I haven't seen the US version. Perhaps I should start with the UK one? Thoughts?

First two seasons were awesome. I couldn't get past a few episodes into the third season. Classic first album syndrome. They used up all the good material they had been incubating their entire lives.

More or less the same for me. Never finished it.
