Agreed on S1 True Detective. Bored to Death and Hung are both kind of **** but I liked them.

I enjoy some of his work, but not nearly as much as The Colbert Report.

I'm watching Star Trek: The Next Generation, a show I watched five million times as a kid, for the first time in years, and I think I'm struck most by the sound of what I assume is air ducts that is in every scene I guess though it's generally below notice. It doesn't have to be there, but it's the one thing above all that lets you know you're on a starship and it's a thing I always noticed as a kid and it's great.

It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia has outpaced Peep Show as my favourite comedy show in case anyone was wondering.

Unpopular opinion: the later seasons don't have the same creative spark as the early seasons where they were building up the characters, but they're still just as funny.

Dwight and Jim were as on point at the end as they were from day one. Maybe more so.
