The miniseries "Feud" with Susan Sarandon and Jessica Lange. It centers on the rivalry/love/hate relationship that Betty Davis and Joan Crawford had in Hollywood. From "Whatever happened to Baby Jane" onward (and if you haven't seen a film by either before, at least see Baby Jane. Really great acting). What a good series! Susan Sarandon really got Betty Davis down..even to the way she talked. And Jessica Lange shines as Joan Crawford. She is the main reason I wanted to see the series. She was they key actor for me in "American Horror Story" and it honestly never was the same since she quit the show. Not even worth watching really.

I stopped watching after season 4. Never quite understood why she left either.

Just finished watching the Pryde of the X-Men pilot that never made it to a full series from the late 80s for the first time in years and while it would have been a terrible version compared to the 90s cartoon it still would have been a delightful 80s cartoon the same as Thundercats or GI Joe but quite possibly better. Whether it would have evolved into a truly better show with more than one episode is debatable but I think it might have surprised people. Might have. At the very least the Dazzler would have been a main character and that's highly amusing.

I'd say it actually had better animation than the 90s show tbh, just not as good art direction.

The one X-Factor is that Jean Grey wasn't involved and I'm curious if that's evidence that the writers secretly had greatness up their sleeves by using the Phoenix Saga as a plot point that had already happened and using it to add drama to the show after the fact.

Whatever the case it's a fun X-Men curio and that Spider-Man bit at the beginning telling all the underaged kids to vote is fantastic.

With the way many of you behave, respond to newcomers, and those that disagree with you along with shady moderating, making friends is probably at the bottom of my list of things to do here. I want to talk about things, maybe learn a bit, and nothing else.

You are the one being confrontational. There are no two ways about it. There was no friendly warning and there was no "stepping out of line" even close to happening. Not sure where this nonsense is coming from, but I was talking about television shows on this thread, my guy.

Probably because it was just getting too wierd. I mean, her first role was the next-door neighbor who knew too much..then a looney sister..then a coven head..then a legless nazi diva who headed a freak show. I think she was there to mainly give some kind of old-hollywood credibilty to the show and wanted to play roles that be more challenging/normal, like Joan Crawford in "Feud".

I liked AHS up to season 4 but then it got really bizarre. When it came to the Lady Gaga hotel one, I saw half the first episode and packed it in. It just seemed like any sense of foreshadowing about characters roles or interest about having a decent plot was gone. With Jessica Langes characters, I knew she was probably going to be the villain but was never quite sure how.

Although, she is coming back for AHS for Apocalypse so it might be worth tuning into again.

Yawn. I'll just leave this here. Maybe you can see what you're doing, maybe not. Don't give a **** anyway. You continue on with unprovoked namecalling like this, we won't be seeing you around here much longer anyway.
