Catching up on a lot of recorded stuff I really need to watch.
First up: seasons 2 and 3 of Penny Dreadful. Great stuff.

Wow. I can imagine what it what must be like to let something as completely meaningless as an accent ruin a tv show for you.

That would make me even more depressed than I already am.

Thank you for pointing out timestamps to me.

Everyone knows how they work. Calm down, you're not special.

I'm halfway through it. Interesting case. He totally did it. His daughters are dumb as ****. His lawyer is a scumbag that I wouldn't want to be around. I dislike the prosecutors more though.

The prosecutors were horrendous. The woman's entire case is pointing out that the dude was bi and had a marriage outside of her perfect little traditional bubble. I hope in 2018 you can't base your entire case against someone on that. The dude prosecutor is now a judge, no surprise.

I actually lean toward he didn't do it, just because I can't figure out a reason why he would and I just feel like after all this time he would either admit it or pull back on his insistence that he didn't do it. 15 years later and he still refuses to even say the word "guilty" even if it makes the plea process easier? Just crazy to me man, but maybe he really is THAT determined to die without ever admitting it, i dunno

He’s almost 75 years old though...I figure by that point I’ll give so few ****s that I’ll want every single secret I’ve ever kept off my chest. Not worth stressing about. I mean unless it sent him back to prison but you can’t be tried for the same crime twice right?

Rich crackers are weird people, dude. We shouldn't expect humans to be logical to begin with.
