A lot of what I'm seeing is after the shows were in their prime. That accounts for some of the lower scores.
that sucks

but an F for Welcome Back Kotter?

You can’t really mean that.

The humor hasn't aged well at all. Not at all. Find it stupid now.

Watched 13 Reasons season two.

Disgusted with myself for trudging through this high school drama that should have honestly ended with the first season. Seemed like they are trying to squeeze as much as they can out of this show. The cliff hangers at the end of this imply that there will be a third and I can already tell that the third season will be drastically worse. I'll probably still watch it, they got me hooked and ashamed for it.

If you don't know, it's basically a glorified high school drama with a mental health awareness gimmick. It focuses on rape, suicide, bullying, drug addiction, broken homes, mental illnesses, depression and school shootings. All fun things. There is a whole lot of punk music in the soundtrack and the most entertaining thing you can do is count how many Joy Division or Cure posters you can find.

Lucem, you're right, it's silly to talk about what I would or wouldn't do IRL. Glad you brought it up. Maybe you should write an instrumental about it. I recommend a piano paired with a clarinet. With ambient sounds of you hanging from your shower curtain you ****ing failure.

Been binge watching Dragon Ball Super lately. Epic, and they really made it a lot more interesting than GT ever did but the downside is that there are only about 50-some odd episodes that have English dubs.

binged the most recent season of south park on hulu over the past few days. had it's moments but overall was just okay; the serialization aspect created some of my favorite content when they first tried it, but has clearly run out of steam.

Just figured it out. The network is called Antenna TV. They play nothing but stale and old reruns which must be really cheap to buy for re-broadcast.

1 out of every 2 commercials is one of those gut wrenching ones where someone pleads for you to help out ($$$). Kids with cancer, abused animals, animals on the brink of extinction, save a life, etc.

I've been the seeing the same damn 8-10 commercials played over and over again for the months I've been watching the network.

The agencies asking for money are St. Jude's, the ASPCA, the WWA, and the Save a Life Worldwide Foundation.

I think the 4 of them got together with a savvy Marketing group and came up with this idea: Get lots of people laughing and reminiscing over these old (cheap) shows and then tug at their hearts during the commercials to get donations.

Brilliant.

I think I quit on that show the season they used giant testicles as a mode of transportation (been about 10 years by now I think).

Mute button. I'm reading and watching DVDs. Just like the tube on as background noise while I'm working on the computer

Wouldn’t you rather have some new Bandcamp release on instead?
