I decided to go ahead and re-watch San Junipero for the first time. I've been meaning to do this for a while, and the reason for that is because it's incredibly rare for me to rewatch a specific episode from a show unless I'm watching it on a binge again. Well, this was just an outstanding experience altogether. It's also nice since this is my favorite Black Mirror episode. Everyone is already well aware why San Junipero is so great (at least i'd hope) but watching it a second time, you catch so many more of the underlying themes going on in the episode. There's some dialogue that you feel more attached to, and you feel an even bigger sense of emotional decay than you would the first time. And trust me, you'll feel it the first time. I love these two actresses in this episode. Everything just works so well and I'm glad I watched it. |

I've heard a lot of people say that it's a great episode, which means it's overrated due to it being a really stupid episode that wasted fascinating themes.

It's the only episode I've never re-watched.
